Molly Walsh, Owner and Principal of STANDOUT Consulting, is a certified executive coach and leadership consultant who helps individuals align what they do with who they are. STANDOUT Consulting specializes in career transitions, executive and career coaching, and individual leadership development.
Molly’s practice is committed to helping individual clients identify, reach and maximize their career goals through personalized, strategic guidance. In her work with businesses and non- profits, Molly consults with an organization’s senior leadership to provide leadership development and transition strategies that lead to increased productivity and, ultimately, profitability.
Standout clients are from across the US and have diverse backgrounds; they include attorneys, physicians, health care executives, consultants, creative arts professionals, entrepreneurs, finance executives, IT professionals, journalists, scientists, and non-profit executives. Molly has provided leadership and career consulting to senior executives from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), the Cleveland Clinic, the Cleveland Metroparks, Lubrizol, PNC Bank, Parker Hannifin, and Sterling Jewelers. Molly has also consulted for national law firms, small businesses, start-ups, non-profits and large organizations including Corporate College, Career Curve, YWCA and American Greetings.
Molly has been featured as a career expert on Forbes.com, in Cleveland Magazine’s Community Leader publication, and on Channel 3, WKYC TV in Cleveland. She has been a presenting speaker at the Cleveland Foundation as well. In 2012, Molly was recognized as the Arthritis Foundation’s Community Leader of the Year, where she is the immediate past Board president. She serves on the board and executive committee of the City Club of Cleveland, and has held volunteer leadership positions with numerous organizations, including the American Red Cross of Northeast Ohio, JumpStart, and Playhouse Square.
Molly holds a Master’s Degree in Education from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University Chicago. She is certified by the Weatherhead School of Management Executive Coaching Program at Case Western Reserve University and is a member of the Forbes Coaches Council, the Career Thought Leaders Consortium, and the Cleveland Chapter of the International Coaching Federation. She holds certifications in the Emotional and Social Competence Inventory (ESCI), the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Assessment tool (MBTI), as a professional resume writer (CPRW), and a certified profile writer (ACPW).
